Built Together

After six years together, this couple officially became one family, surrounded by the people who mattered most to them. Their wedding took place on a beautiful ranch in Hemet, where every corner of the property offered a new backdrop and a new opportunity to create something memorable. As someone who spends a lot of time photographing in the streets and working with whatever environment is available, I enjoyed the challenge of being resourceful and finding unique ways to use the ranch's scenery throughout the day.

There were countless moments worth remembering, many of which were captured by both me and my daughter. One of my favorite challenges came during the couple's first dance as husband and wife. The sun was beaming directly in their direction, creating difficult lighting conditions, but sometimes you simply shoot your shot and trust the process. With a little creativity behind the camera and later in editing, those moments became some of the most rewarding images from the day. This couple made the absolute most of their wedding day, and it was an honor to document the beginning of their next chapter together as a blended family.
