Newborn Travels

This newborn session was especially meaningful to me because it came from someone in my hometown who had previously trusted me with her maternity photos. She was happy with how those images turned out and returned to have me photograph her baby, which made this experience even more rewarding. It is always special when someone from my hometown makes the decision to come to my area for photos and places that level of trust in my work.

The baby was calm and cooperative throughout the session, and I focused on keeping him comfortable and warm at all times. Since this was my first photo shoot with a newborn less than two weeks old, I understood that we had a limited window to work within and approached the session with patience and care. For this set, I edited the images in cool tones as well as black and white to create a soft, timeless feel. The result was a collection of photographs that capture the quiet beauty of those first days, and I am grateful to have been part of such an important moment for their family.
