Old Town Indio

I came across these images on an old SD card from when I was just starting out. They’re from one of my first solo shoots in Indio, a session that came from a connection I can’t clearly remember, but I believe we met while my brother was shooting his music video. At the time, I was still figuring things out, and shooting in a place I was familiar with gave me a bit of comfort as I learned.

I didn’t have everything dialed in yet, but that was part of the process. I was experimenting with whatever I could, even using mirrors at times to create reflections and add something different to the frame. There’s one image in this gallery that reflects that approach. It was all about learning how to work with someone, trying new ideas, and building confidence with each shot. Looking back, it’s one of those early moments that helped shape how I approach photography today.
