In Between Spaces

This shoot in the Coachella Valley came from someone just getting started in modeling, looking to build content for social media and begin shaping a portfolio. We worked out of an unopened business in the Old Town Indio area, a spot that at the time was still quiet, now filled with life and movement. It gave us space to experiment. We moved through different corners and backdrops, testing what worked and leaving behind what didn’t. That is part of it. Not every idea lands, but the process always leads somewhere.

Some of the stronger frames came from keeping it simple, including a set with an old delivery truck that carried its own presence without needing much else. There was no pressure to be perfect, just a chance to create and figure things out in real time. I am no longer on Instagram, so I do not know where her path in modeling has taken her, but I hope these images gave her something solid to build on.
